Alyse Lasley: President

I am a Fashion Merchandising Major at TCU. Advocating Life is important to me because abortion is a terrible detriment to our society bred by misinformation that cripples both women and men rather than empowering them. Besides this, millions of children have been killed, many that would be my very own age today. No group of people deserves to be the victim of a genocide, especially not the unborn who have no ability to fight for themselves.

Martha McAdams: Vice President

I am a theology and pre-nursing major at the University of Dallas. I am pro-life because I am human, and I recognize the dignity of all human life from conception until natural death. I go out on Saturday mornings and side-walk council the women going into the clinic because I love them as women who deserve to know that there are other options than abortion. We tell them about the care pregnancy center that can help them pursue other options.

Billy Gibula: Secretary

I am a freshman at the University of Dallas. I am currently doing a double major in Mathematics and Theology. My sophomore year of high school, a group went to Washington, D.C. for the annual March for Life. Some of my friends went and they all said they had a great time. During my junior year of high school, I had a Jesuit Scholastic as my Theology teacher who was very passionate about pro-life issues. I learned a lot about the pro-life cause from him and decided to go to D.C. that year. I loved the March for Life and immediately felt that God was calling me to be active in pro-life ministries. I joined the pro-life club at my high school and was elected president my senior year. We did prayerful protests at Planned Parenthood in Houston on several weekends and also volunteered at a few Pro-Life Banquets in Houston. My experiences in high school are the strong foundations of my unyielding pro-life convictions. I hope that in college I can learn even more about pro-life issues, have a greater impact, and help others to grow in their passion for pro-life issues.

Rachana Chhin: Conference Coordinator

I am an International Studies Major at Baylor University. I am Pro-Life because I believe that abortion is a terrible scar on our society and my faith strongly encourages me to "stand up for those condemned to die". I believe the unborn is a child of God and should be ensured the right to life just as any other human being in our nation. I was never involved in the Pro-Life movement before college, but I wanted to stand for something meaningful-there is nothing like saving the life of the unborn, the mother, and their families.

Robby Pryblya: Conference Assistant

I am a mechanical engineering major at Baylor University. I am passionate about life because it is God’s gift, and I feel totally responsible for letting other people know how precious each and every life is—from the first moment of conception to natural death. My wonderful mother and father have instilled in me a deep respect for other people, and I feel called to do all I can to protect life in our society, starting with the most vulnerable, the most innocent of all. I am so grateful to be involved in Texas Students For Life because I can work with and meet other people from around the state who care about building a culture of life.
